Ronaldo wins ‘Player of the Year’ at FIFA awards

Portugese sensation Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned the FIFA best men’s “Player of the Year” for the second year running at the governing body’s annual ‘The Best’ football awards, held at the London Palladium theatre in London on Monday. Hockey Asia Cup: India beat Malaysia 2-1 to clinch title

The Indian hockey team won it’s first Asia Cup in 10 years after they beat Malaysia 2-1 in a closely fought battle at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday, thus ending their long wait for a continental trophy. The win was also India’s third Asia Cup triumph and second outside India. 1st ODI vs NZ: Favourites India look to continue dominant run in ODIs
